God Will Use For Good

God Will Use For Good
by: Pastor Ryan Scheibel
2 Samuel 18:13-15, “Therefore Saul removed him from his presence, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him. Therefore, when Saul saw that he behaved very wisely, he was afraid of him. But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.”
Here we see Saul demoted David but even with his demotion in rank, his popularity raised., This plot against David backfired because David was now closer to the people than he ever was and they loved him even more. What Saul meant for evil in demoting David, God used for good.
We saw that back in Genesis with Joseph and his brothers being thrown in the pit. What man means for evil, God will use for good and when the Lord’s with you to do what He’s called you to do, it doesn’t matter what anybody says or what anybody does, Gods plan will come to pass.
