 Are Your Friends Bringing You Toward God?

Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

Being best friends with those practicing sin can be dangerous to your spiritual health. That doesn’t mean that believers should avoid contact with unbelievers. We want to win them to Christ; however, if those individuals maintain an evil lifestyle and we are very close to them, it’s only a matter of time before their troubles become your troubles. Make sure your closest friends are drawing you to Jesus and not pulling you away from Jesus. It’s important to surround yourself with people that are running after Jesus, drawing closer to the Lord and pursuing Jesus more!
